Wasp’s design for the Dior store in Dubai has been crafted using clay, sand, and raw fibers, and blends in perfectly with the context of the site on the Jumeirah beach. While the store’s walls reveal the signature Cannage motif, the pop-up outdoor space has neutral-toned furniture including deckchairs, that gives the space a trendy beach atmosphere.
Using an exceptional 3D printing system designed by WASP, the design of this store pushes the boundaries of savoir-faire for the Italian manufacturer. In a fascinating architectural interplay, the cannage motif, a key House code, is revealed on the walls of this ephemeral boutique.
Inside, acidic hues reveal creations celebrating gentle life, including the Dioriviera women’s collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The store also features iconic bags such as the Dior Book Tote and the Dior Caro, along with the latest additions to the Dior 2022 cruise line, such as the Lady Dior in the horizontal East-West format and the Lady Dior Wicker baskets.
