Their inventive research has helped to develop a sustainable material, from the otherwise disposed parts of one of the most consumed crops around the world, potatoes. McCain, a family-owned company, known across the world for their potato-based products, supplies the potato peels that Chip[s] Board requires to make the product. The material that is produced from the food waste is durable, recyclable, biodegradable, and does not contain any toxic chemicals.
