Luxury and environment-consciousness rarely comes together, but Anthénea pod is one such treat of luxury and perfect adaptation to environment; the first of its kind.
Anthénea is self-sufficient, autonomous and ecological. Equipped with silent motors in the proprietary version, the floating suite is solar powered and can stay afloat indefinitely with the help of five south-facing soar panels and two electric propulsion pods. Its domed shape is designed to follow the Sun’s rays and blend seamlessly into the environment while its central well serves as an undersea observation and natural air conditioning system. Motorized reclinable sunshade roof able to automatically switch in the wind direction, natural ventilation of the living-room and bedroom, removable Solarium windshield in order to create an additional room. Desalination system and wood burning stove are added as optional features and can be installed anywhere with zero environmental impact. With autonomous, onboard wastewater treatment, the pod does not need to be connected to terrestrial networks, and only clean water is rejected.
Anthénea can be easily piloted in any environment and adapts to a wide temperature range from -30°C to +40°C. The 50 square meters capsule includes three living spaces with features like underwater window, sea or freshwater bathtub, and even a 360° solarium on the roof for 12 people. All interior features are entirely made from sustainable materials.
This eco-friendly hotel suiteoffers a new form of tourist experience between underwater vision and land exploration. Check out their website to know more about Anthénea.
